Finned Tubular Heating Elements are advanced heating solutions designed to maximize heat transfer in air-heating applications. Featuring continuous spiral fins (4-5 per inch) brazed to the sheath, they significantly increase surface area, enabling faster heat transfer and lower element temperatures. This design allows higher power density in compact spaces, making them ideal for forced air systems like ducts, dryers, ovens, and load bank resistors.
Constructed with AISI 304 stainless steel sheaths (φ10mm) and AISI 430 stainless steel fins (φ26mm outer diameter), these elements use durable Ni-Cr alloy resistive wire for reliable performance. Zinc steel M14 crimped connectors, silicone sealing (up to 200°C), and threaded connections (M4 or M6) ensure secure and durable installation. Operating at ~230V, the mechanically bonded fins prevent vibration at high air velocities, ensuring stable operation.
The increased surface area improves heat transfer efficiency, reduces sheath temperatures, and extends element life. These features make finned tubular heaters to standard tubular heaters in confined spaces.
Applications include forced air heating for premises, closed drying circuits, charge benches, and other industrial/commercial systems, with a temperature of 200°C (at 4 m/sec airflow). Reliable, efficient, and versatile, these elements are ideal for demanding air-heating needs.
